myString is a sophisticated yet simple application. In addition to the web browser based interface we have a SOAP Web Service API. This allows third party systems to integrate their data from their own traceability account into their systems. Some have used this to deliver this data into the consumer domain using their websites.

 

A particularly good example of how this can be used has been implemented by Made-By (http://www.made-by.nl ) in The Netherlands. This is shown in the picture gallery below. Click any of the images and you can scroll through them at a larger size in our gallery viewer. [Hint - click towards the middle of either side of the images to scroll from one to the next].

 

Made-By is an umbrella label for use by fashion brands to indicate that their products are produced in a sustainable manner. These brands show all their production processes by using the HF String traceability system and publishing the data through the Made-By website. We are also able to "white-label" our service such that it is branded as a Made By Track and Trace Service.

 

Some garmernts produced under the Made By label carry an identification tag which uniquely identifies a single batch of product. By entering the data on this label into the Made By website and "pushing the button" the full production history of a garment can be established. This is done in real time via our web service API to the actual production data stored at the time of production of this garment.

  

In this instance Made By are showing some specific information about each of the organisations involved in the  entire supply chain for this product. Note at the top there is a link to "Where in the world". This takes the user to a Google Map which plots the position of every organisation that was involved in the production process. We can do this as String is able to store the GPS co-ordinates for each process and organisation in the supply chain, delivering it to you via the API in a form that you can easily integrate with Google Maps and other mapping services. You too could have this sort of data available for your customers...
